Spring Geowalk in the West Wycombe Area with Brian Harvey

We were joined on this trip by members of the Beconsfield WEA and University of the Third Age on this very enjoyable 4 mile walk. The geology took in various Sarsen Stones and we discussed possible theories of their formation including the possibility that they could have been dropped by giant birds. The walk also took in a visit to a very pleasant pub, a visit to the infamous "Hellfire" Caves and a final cream tea - the perfect OUGS field trip!
